MISSOURI STATE PARK ADVISORY BOARD HOLDS CONFERENCE CALL MARCH 20

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., MARCH 13, 2008 -- The Missouri State Park Advisory Board will hold a conference call at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Division of State Parks building, 1659 E. Elm St., Jefferson City.

The board is appointed by the governor to advise the Department of Natural Resources on projects related to state parks and historic sites. Agenda items for the conference call include an update on projects related to the Taum Sauk settlement and Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park, a review of the budget, a discussion of curation issues at the Missouri State Museum and a discussion concerning the election of board officers.
