OPEN HOUSE PLANNED FOR TABLE ROCK STATE PARK OCT. 13

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., SEPT. 27, 2007 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an open house Saturday, Oct. 13, to discuss issues related to Table Rock State Park near Branson. The open house will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the park's open picnic shelter, across from the park office.

Representatives from the park will be on hand to provide information and answer questions about the park and State Park Marina, which is operated by Starboard Corp. The public is invited to share comments on the park and its services.

The open house is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services offered in Missouri state parks and historic sites.

Table Rock State Park is located seven miles southwest of Branson on Highway 165.
