INFORMATIONAL MEETING IS SEPT. 20 AT
CONFEDERATE MEMORIAL STATE HISTORIC SITE
JEFFERSON CITY, MO., SEPT. 10, 2007 – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20, to discuss issues related to Confederate Memorial State Historic Site in Higginsville. The meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the site’s chapel.
Representatives from the historic site will present an overview of completed, ongoing and future projects at the site. The public will also have a chance to ask questions and share comments about the site and its operations.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure the public has input on state parks and historic sites.
Confederate Memorial State Historic Site is located one mile north of Higginsville on Business Highway 13.
