INFORMATIONAL MEETING IS SEPT. 16 AT BOLLINGER MILL STATE HISTORIC SITE

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., SEPT. 06, 2007 – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host an informational meeting on Sunday, Sept. 16, at Bollinger Mill State Historic Site in Burfordville. The meeting is from 3 to 4 p.m. and is open to the public. Following the meeting, at 4:30 p.m., the site’s annual Fall Folk Concert will be held.

Staff from the site will be on hand to discuss recently completed and future projects at the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments regarding site operations and facilities.

After the meeting, Cabin Fever will perform new and old traditional bluegrass music as well as gospel bluegrass. Bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on for the concert.

The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.

Bollinger Mill State Historic Site is located in Burfordville in Cape Girardeau County on Highway HH.
