Camper Cabins
Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park offers six camper cabins located off of Loop 2 in the campground. The log cabins provide accommodations for up to four adults, with a maximum occupancy of six. These accommodations include a queen-size bed and a double-size futon. The camper cabins are open March through December and may be reserved in advance.
The camper cabins have electricity, heating and air conditioning but do not include water or restrooms. Each cabin has a dining table, ceiling fan, compact refrigerator and microwave. Exterior amenities include a porch bench, picnic table, pedestal grill and campfire grill. Parking for each unit is limited to two vehicles. A modern central restroom and showerhouse is located within walking distance of the cabins, and is open year-round.
To prepare for your experience, bring your camping gear such as lanterns, cooking and eating utensils, and water containers. Guests must bring their own linens and sleeping bags. Open flame cooking is not allowed in the cabins or on the cabin porches. Cooking with griddles, crockpots and other non-flame cooking devices is allowed. Pets and smoking are not allowed inside the cabins. Clean up and trash removal is the responsibility of the lodging guest and should be completed before check out.
The 2010 rate for the cabins is $75 plus tax. Rates are for up to six occupants. Full payment for your stay will be due at the time you make the reservation. Single-night reservations are not accepted.
