Teaching American History – Black Wall Street: Men and Women Entrepreneurship

The Missouri State Museum is hosting three Teaching American History seminars in 2022 and early 2023. These free daylong seminars connect scholars with local educators on a wide array of topics. Registration is required.

Black Wall Street has long been a symbol of hope and success. But who were the individuals who contributed to the prosperity of African Americans? This seminar will examine the successful economic ventures created by those men and women.

All participants will receive a letter of continuing education and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader. Lunch will be provided by the Missouri State Museum.
