Discover the world of birds by learning all about our feathered friends who call your backyard home. This festival will feature live bird presentations, guided bird watches, activities, crafts, food and more! A new feature this year will be a falconer with her live raptors on display. Learn all about this hobby and more during this fun-filled festival. This event will be held at the park’s day-use area and is free and open to the public. End the day by experiencing up close and personal the awe and wonder of America's amazing birds of prey. The Raptor Awareness Program will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the park’s amphitheater by the World Bird Sanctuary and will feature the spectacular raptors of Missouri, such as hawks, owls and falcons.
