Hiking in the St. Francois Mountains is great fun, if you are prepared! Join us as we venture into the wilds of Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park. Learn some tips for hiking safety as well. Meet at the day-use main parking lot at 9 a.m. to explore Horseshoe Glade Trail (1.5 miles). Bring plenty of water in a non-disposable container. Wear closed-toe shoes or hiking boots. Other events will continue throughout the afternoon.
