Enjoy a luncheon at J. Huston Tavern, accompanied by special wine pairings. Dessert will be followed by coffee and a tour of Prairie Park, the historic 1849 plantation house built by William B. Sappington, son of prominent frontier doctor and entrepreneur Dr. John Sappington. Owners Day and Whitney Kerr, and Friends of Arrow Rock Executive Director Kathy Borgman will conduct the tour of the house, noted for its beautiful architectural details and period furnishings, including many Sappington family heirlooms. Prairie Park is located 3.5 miles from Arrow Rock. Guests will travel in their own vehicles.
