Bring your ideas about the park to this open house. In conjunction with the open house, the park will also host Bug Day, which features fun family activities focused on the world of insects. The open house and Bug Day event will be held in the park’s visitor center. These activities are free and open to the public.
Bug Day activities include a “Maintenance Crew” theme with a cast of animal characters presenting how thy deal with the effects of a fierce Missouri storm featuring Forman Artie Ant in a performance at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Other Bug Day activities include exhibits, games, crafts, an insect zoo and a photo station (so don't forget your camera). There will be fun for all ages.
