Campfire Cooking

Join historic site staff and Brian Flowers, Missouri Department of Conservation, for a lesson on campfire cooking. Participants will prepare an entire meal using camp ovens, smokers and campfire cooking skills. Lessons will include the proper tools and utensils for campfire cooking, care and cleaning of cast iron and of course sampling all of the food that is prepared. This program is open to families and campfire chefs of all ages.

Meet at campsite 13. Preregistration is requested by calling the historic site.
