Twenty miles west of St. Louis on Hwy. BA, between U.S. 40 and Hwy. 100. The trailhead is approximately one mile from the main park entrance on the south side of the road.

Adjacent to Lone Elk County Park on the North Outer Road along I-44. An additional three miles of trail are available by accessing the trail at either Lone Elk or West Tyson County Park.

West St. Louis County along the Meramec River. The trailhead is located in the main Castlewood day-use area at the intersection of Kiefer Creek and Ries roads.
4. Pine Ridge Trail -- 11 miles

From Hwy. 67, west on Hwy. W, right on Bray Road, left on Pimville Road, about two miles to park boundary; equestrian area is located on right approximately .5 mile.

7. Daniel Boone Conservation Area Trails -- 8 miles

From Warrenton, take I-70 west 11 miles to Route Y, south on Route Y three miles to area sign, follow Tower Road south two miles to the horse trail parking lot. Trails are open from the end of spring turkey season until the beginning of fall turkey season.
8. Forest 44 Conservation Area Trails -- 9 miles

From I-44 at Valley Park, go south on Hwy. 141 to the first stoplight at Meramec Station Road, right one mile to Hillsboro Road, left .5 mile to parking lot on the right.

From Warrenton, take I-70 west for five miles to Route B, then south for six miles to parking lot on the left, or travel south on Route EE for 3.5 miles to parking lot on the right. Trails are open from the end of spring turkey season until the beginning of fall turkey season.
10. Long Ridge Conservation Area Trails -- 9.5 miles

From Sullivan, take Route AF north for three miles to Ridge Road, continue north for one mile to the horse trail parking lot on the left. A second horse trail parking lot is two miles farther on Ridge Road.
11. J. Avery Ruble Memorial Bridle Trail -- 11 miles

From Sullivan, take Hwy. 185 south for 4.5 miles to the area entrance on the left; follow the gravel road for 1.5 miles to parking and trail access.
12. Rockwoods Range Trails -- 8.5 miles

From Eureka, take I-44 west three miles to Allenton Road, make an immediate left on the North Outer Road (Fox Creek Road) and follow for 1.25 miles to parking lot on the left, continue on Fox Creek Road for 2.25 miles to a second parking lot on the right.
13. Berryman Trail -- 24 miles

Two trailheads: Berryman Campground - one mile north of Hwy. 8 between Potosi and Steelville on Forest Service Rd. 2266. Brazil Creek Campground - six miles north of Berryman Campground via Forest Service Rd. 2266 then right on Hwy. W for one mile.
