The Huzzah Creek offers various sunfish, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass.

Picnic Areas

Five picnic tables with pedestal grills are located at the parking lot area, one of which is a covered, accessible shelter. The accessible shelter does not currently have a grill and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Large groups wanting to use the shelter should make reservations two weeks in advance by calling the historic site at 573-244-3120. Two additional picnic tables are located along the trail to the mill, facing the mill pond. One of these is accessible and can be accessed by vehicle by contacting site staff.
