The regular fishing season is March 1 through Oct. 31. Daily permits are required to fish on the spring branch and zones are set aside for different kinds of lures. Permits are available at the park store. For more information, call 417-532-4307.

The swimming pool is open to the public from June 20 to Labor Day weekend. Pool hours are from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. A fee is charged.
Picnic Area/PlaygroundThere are two picnic shelter houses at Bennett Spring State Park.
Shelter A or the Spring Shelter is $30 per day (9 a.m. to 10 p.m.). It is located at the head of the spring. Shelter A has a fireplace, picnic tables and an outdoor barbecue grill. There is a vault toilet in this area.
Shelter B or the Whistle Bridge Shelter is $40 per day (9 a.m. to 10 p.m.). It is located near Whistle Bridge in the park. Shelter B offers electricity and accommodates more people than Shelter A. It has many picnic tables and a large indoor grill. The restroom facility is accessible with flush toilets.
Reservations for these two shelter may be made Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by calling 417-532-4338. Each shelter may be reserved for any day of the week during any time of the season. However, Shelter B may not be reserved on Hillbilly Days weekend (Father's Day weekend).
Playgrounds are located in the day-use area, at Shelter A, at Shelter B and in Campground 2.
Meeting RoomsA meeting room located in the dining lodge can be reserved for a variety of special events including reunions, conferences and wedding receptions. The facility can accommodate approximately 60 guests and is fully furnished. For reservations or questions regarding the meeting room, please contact Donna at 417-532-4547.
