NOTE: Several state parks in Missouri have experienced frequent spring flood events. These events can leave behind mud and debris throughout the park, including the campground. Although park staff are working diligently to improve the condition of their park, their cleanup efforts will have limited results without an extended period of dry weather. Campers may want to change their reservation to an alternate date if these post-flood conditions are not conducive with their camping plans.
